I walked into Dennehys and I swear I didn't leave for almost a week! Mary and Con and their son treated me like I was part of the family and the regulars in the bar were always friendly and ready for a chat. This bar, (although I haven't been in 10 years) will always hold a special place in my heart, as will the Dennehy family. Three words to describe my experience there, amazing, amazing, amazing. 10 years ago I found myself in Cork, a 17 year old girl on a bit of a wander.

Some pictures of the interior that I found along with your description will add just the right amount of atmosphere and accuracy.
