It is situated directly outside Turners Cross football stadium, home to Cork City F.C. I have supported Leeds United for the majority of my life but decisions made by the club made me question if i want to continue. I am more interested in supporting local soccer and attend Turners Cross for all home games. I used to attend this pub when i was younger for meetings of the Cork branch of the Leeds United supporters club. The pub itself is old fashioned but attracts a good mixture of patrons. A pre or post match drink is always an option. There are two sections and overall it is a comfortable place. It is facing the main road and parking is available along the side of the road. Their pints of Murphy’s are quite good and i have had a few nice pints inside.

This is Turners Cross stadium.
To be honest i haven’t seen the toilets for a while so i can’t comment on them. I have fond memories of attending the meetings in this place when i was younger. I haven’t heard live music there but they could have it. If attending a match you won’t find a pub closer than this one.
Pint rating: 7.5/10
Overall rating: 7/10
Final comment: The Horseshoe Inn is a grand pub but with no frills attached, expect a decent pint.
