We were in Dingle a couple of days ago to visit the aquarium. To be honest it was extremely interesting and i would recommend a visit to anyone. We were lucky to get a very comprehensive guided tour from a friend who works there. Afterwards we decided to go for lunch and Paudie’s Bar was recommended to us. It is the bar in the hotel. It enjoys a town center location. It is quite a spacious bar and there are many comfortable seating areas available. We ordered our food and it was tasty and reasonable as well. Dingle has a reputation for being an expensive place but our meals were not to expensive. As i was not driving i tried a pint of their Guinness and it was a very good one to be honest. I also ordered 2 pints of Coca Cola off the bar man and i asked twice and he gave me two glasses instead. There are nice stone effects in the bar and they also have lights that change colour. We noticed two old men sitting watching everyone who passed them as if this was their normal pass time.
The toilets are most definately the most modern and cleanest i have come across in all the reviews. There is an attractive hallway out to them and i cannot fault them in any way. They were clean, spacious and very usable. There is also a restaurant called Paudie’s in the hotel. Dingle attracts a huge number of tourists during the summer season and this hotel and bar will inevitably do very well. After we left the bar we went and got some fried mars bars in a cafe place up the road. Definately something to try once!

Final Comment: Paudie’s Bar in The Dingle Bay Hotel is central, good value and certainly worth a visit if in Dingle.
