The Commons Inn is a hotel that is owned by the O’ Neill family. I have been in there three times the most recent being today. Following a look around Blackpool shopping center we decided to come here for some lunch. I have had lunch here before and it was very enjoyable. We found that the car park was packed and had to park a bit away. There is a substantial amount of parking available outside. The Commons Bar is very big and spacious and was very busy today. We were there at about half one and just managed to get a seat in the bar. They have screens advertising what menu is available. This is the first time i have seen this and it is very impressive. I had to queue for quite a while for the carvery counter. Both myself and Jen went for the crown of turkey and it was very good. The lunches cost around 9 euro which is reasonable. I was driving so didn’t drink and we both got minerals. The bar staff were very friendly.
I didn’t use the toilets in the bar but i was at a function in their big room before and the toilets were in very good condition then. The Commons has a very good name as a hotel, restaurant and bar. I don’t know what the night life is like there but for a very enjoyable lunch then this is your place.

Final comment: The Commons Bar is located just off one of Corks busiest roads. I would say it does very well from passing trade. It is a nice place.
