The Maritime Bar is the hotel bar in the Commodore hotel in Cobh Co Cork. This is the next place that we ventured to. This pub is on your right as you walk into the hotel. The bar is on the left and there are seating areas down to the right. It is a very comfortable pub. It is carpeted and as i have said before this is not something you see in too many pubs any more. We sat down in the first section and took a nice table with a spectacular view over the harbour. I ordered a 7up and two white wines and was served promptly. A quarter bottle of white wine will cost you 3 euro 95 cent. There was quite a lot of people eating bar food and it looked very appetising. There are two seating areas and they both accomodate a good number of people. I am not sure if there is reular entertainment in the bar but i think the hotel operates a night club in a room within the hotel. It is a nice bar to enjoy a relaxing drink in.
The toilets are situated out near the reception area. The gents is quite big and was generally in good condition when i went in. The Maritime Bar if being honest is not somewhere i would head again for a drink. On the other hand if i wanted something nice to eat while in Cobh i would head back. If you ever end up staying in this hotel, try their relaxing bar.

Final comment: The Marimtime Bar is a grand spot with very nice views out over the water.
The maritime bar is a good place for grub and a quiet pint or two, the nightclub I would’nt have a bar of it!
