Hi – very great website you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to issue a comment to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically pleasing. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed functioning with computing machines and am attempting to learn computer code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).

I couldn’t agree more with you Tim. The toilets in particualr have that old world smell about them, especially early on a Sunday afternoon when all the mature gents arrive in for their Beamish after mass.

I think that the cotton ball is a fantastic pub I dont think people realise how generous and unusual it is to find free internet in a pub. Of all the pubs in mayfield it is by far and away the cleanest and most modern yet keeps an air of old world charm there is never any trouble unlike some of the other pubs in the locality.

I’ve been to the Cotton Ball a long time now.
The barstaff have declined in recent years due to lack of competant management, I think they gave up when the owner stepped back a bit.
You can have very long waits for drinks as the barstaff all disappear from the bar to have a cuddle around the back of the bar.
It was never like this before & I think they should keep this sort of thing behind closed doors, although I heard that 2 of the barmen are getting married in Lanzarote soon so they might take on some new staff then.
The food is advertised but rarely there so I can’t comment.
