The next pub that we visited while in Tralee was Sean Ogs bar on Bridge street. In chalk outside the door of this pub was written ‘The best pub in Tralee’. There was a friendly black dog blocking the entrance to the pub so we had to step over him/her to gain entry. The first thing i noticed on heading in was that there was some event taking place. There was a card game on and the bar man was getting people to pick out cards on coming in. The man behind the bar was one of the friendliest guys i have come across for a while in any pub. I don’t know his name but i think he deserves a mention as he made us feel very welcome. The pint of Guinness that i had was very good and couldn’t complain about it.
The toilets were in good condition when checked and the cubicle there is very big. I saw that Sean Ogs is also a B+B and i checked out their website and it is quite reasonable to stay there. There was a good crowd in this bar and it appeared that it is very popular with locals and certainly welcomes strangers that want to pop in for a pint. Check out their website @ www.sean-ogs.com

Final comment: Sean Ogs is a fine pub in the heart of Tralee.
Just back from spending a few days in Tralee. Have to say this was one of the best pubs we have come across in a long long time. Brilliant atmosphere and excellent friendly bar staff.
