Linekers

The next bar we visited was Linekers bar on Avenida de las Playas. It is another pub that is upstairs. I have heard of this pub before but it was somewhere in Spain. They must be a chain and i presume that they are owned or are in some way connected to Gary Lineker. We went upstairs and were very surprised to find this huge bar empty bar us and the barman. He was very chatty and myself and Jen decided to have a game of pool. We had our choice of tables. There was plenty seating available all over the pub. I had a pint and Jen had a diet coke very sensibly! The large beer and diet coke cost 4 euro 50. The pint was good. There was a few people came in while we were there but it was very quiet. It was about half 10 when we were there.

The toilets were very clean and there was one cubicle and three urinals available. The barman was acting dj for the night as i saw him in the djing booth. To be fair we were passing this pub the following night and it was packed with people as England were playing. It obviously attracts the football crowd. All in all not a bad pub but just a pity it was so quiet.

Toilet rating: 7/10
Pint rating: 7/10
Overall rating: 7/10

Final comment: Linekers bar is definately a place to head with a big group because there is so much space.
