The Blarney Stone

Another pub we visited while in Lanzarote was The Blarney Stone. It is in the the old town and if being honest it was the liveliest bar we visited while on holidays. It is quite a big bar and food is served as far as i know. The pub is run by a Carrigaline man and talented musician Johnny Crowley. The pints were the most expensive we got while on the island. It is a very popular spot. The night that we were there was very busy and there was a lot of singers going up doing their piece accompanied by Johnny. I, of course was one of them and did my usual few party-pieces along with a few new attempts. To be fair Johnny makes the night for everyone there as he is witty and can back anybody it seems, no matter what song they choose to sing.

I was disappointed with the toilets that i used. They were not in great condition. Overall this is a good pub to visit. It shows all the major sporting events but the big draw back for me is that the prices for drink here are almost the same as you’d pay in Ireland. Check it out for yourself.

Toilet rating: 5/10
Pint rating: 7/10
Overall rating: 7.5/10

Final comment: The Blarney Stone bar is a very worth while visit. Make sure to sing a song!
