I organised a staff night out here with our Company last weekend. Great place to watch a game. The pints were good and the place had a good decent crowd

Beer Gardens turners cross what a friendly place . Smashing pints at reasonable prices. Sunday evening had a great night with brilliant acoustic music ranging from folk to ballad to trad. This was just what we needed it was like back in a country pub on holidays. Even though I did,nt have food I looked at the menu and also looked very reasonable.

First tripped over Henchys a few years ago when visiting cork with my wife and loads of her friends all Irish nurses working in England. We now have an annual trip to cork from the uk so my wife and her sisters can catch up and shop in the city! That leaves me and my two brother in laws at a loose end, a very sad state of affairs you will agree. Needless to say the only place for us is Henchys! It must be good the two Mikes both from county limerick are Guinness connoisseurs and they never seem to be disappointed and neither am I. As the token Brit it took a while to work out that the old wives tale that Murphys is better because it doesn’t give you a hangover was a little misleading (I wouldn’t usually say that but ther may be ladies reading this) Henchys is friendly atmospheric and real (no plastic paddy rubbish here). Roll on two weeks because I will be ther with the lads again. P.S. do I get a free pint now, best of luck to all.

We have visited the Dunloe many times and have always had a fabulous time. The best Guiness in Ireland and great music. Bog Ashe are remarkable.
